Coupons

Over the past two years or so I have ventured into the coupon world. My mom started in 2009 and I eventually jumped on the bandwagon. I do not coupon full time, meaning I do not spend 8+ hours a day trying to get ready for one shopping trip. The most time I have spent is 3 hours and I think it's because I haven't fully developed a system just yet and I prepare for several stores instead of just one. I do use a website my mom found to help assist in finding the best deals. That website is southersavers.com. I have all my coupons organized in a fairly large binder. I use trading card sleeves to put them in because that is what works best for me. I look two times a week at southern savers...Wednesday and Sunday. I have regular mail envelopes labeled with each stores name I shop. My binder is organized by type. For example I have a table of contents page so to speak in the front to tell me where each section begins. Sections include things like beverages, produce, salty snacks, baby, etc. I buy at least two papers each sunday. I really prefer buying four, but do good sometimes to even get one lol. Before I go on my shopping trips I put all the coupons I will need for each store in their envelopes and print off my shopping list from southern savers. I do take my big binder in each store in case I need a coupon I didn't plan on using, but for the most part I only use the envelopes. My favorite grocery store to shop right now is Bi-Lo and my favorite drug store is CVS, but you MUST get those deals the minute they go on sale. I will be adding my previous coupon posts here shortly.
